New Idea for

Art Lovers on the Go:
Postcard Paintings!

greetings from jerome arizona
"Greetings from Jerome Arizona", 4x6, acrylic on canva

Easily transportable, at a postcard-sized 4x6 inches, and a delightfully chunky 1.75 inches thick, Postcard Paintings continue my goal of "Maximum Artwork at Minimum Prices".

Perfect on the wall, alone or assembled in groupings, parked on a shelf, or portable to wherever you go, Postcard Paintings are a fine art reminder of your visit to Arizona's beautiful Verde Valley and the enchanting high-desert lifestyle.

15th Anniversary of the Jerome Artists Cooperative

Opening in 1996, the co-op celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2011. I joined the gallery in 1997, back at the tender age of 25, so although I'm not a "founding member" I'm dang close to the gallery's earliest days.

Here's the painting I created for the Summer Membership Show...
"Lost Highway", 8x10 acrylic on canvas.

Looking forward to seeing the co-op's many fans and friends at the show's opening, Saturday, July 2nd.

Everyone Should Be Able to Afford Original Art

Art's not just for ga-jillionaires!
Everyone should be able to afford original artworks to enliven your home and your spirits.

I've always got something fresh and new stocked at the Jerome Artists Cooperative Gallery: an entire wall of small original paintings, in a wide variety of subject matter. One will surely appeal to you.
(Or maybe more than one! S'okay- they're so economical you can take home a six-pack if you wish!)

Some of my newest works...

Sun baked

"Sun Baked" 6x8, acrylic on canvas
painted from a 35mm taken with 1950s vintage Kodak.
This gorgeous sunbaked old trailer was parked at the edge of my Clarkdale Arizona neighborhood for years.

treasure hunt

"Treasure Hunt", 8x10, acrylic on canvas.
Inspired by a photo in a 1973 issue of (long defunct) "Desert Magazine". Apparently in 1973 treasure hunting with metal detectors was a sensation sweeping the nation.
